Good news for aspiring teachers as the government has decided to hire nearly 10,000 teachers for schools to fix the crisis in schools.
As per details, the jobs have been announced by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. The teachers will be recruited temporarily with a Rs25,000 monthly salary, as per the information provincial cabinet decision.
The government gave a green signal to hire 5,845 teachers in settled districts, whereas 4,229 teaching posts will be allocated for the districts of tribal belt.
Moreover, teachers will be hired in the settled area from January 16 to May 31 and in tribal areas, the time frame will be from March 1 to June 30.

The Sindh government also approved the establishment of 8,049 teaching posts in the School Education and Literacy Department for the year 2026.
According to the official notification to the Section Officer (Secondary-I), School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, the new posts include positions at various academic and administrative levels.

The approved posts include the following
- 44 posts of Chief Head master/Head mistress (BS-20)
- 593 posts of Senior Head master/Head mistress (BS-19)
- 1,444 posts of Head master/Head mistress (BS-18)
- 5,968 posts of Head master/Head mistress (BS-17)

How can i get a teaching license?
The Sindh Teaching License Test is a requirement for teachers in Sindh, Pakistan.
It is managed by the Sindh Teacher Education Development Authority (STEDA).
The test is conducted by SIBA Testing Services (STS) usually. It covers basic subjects like Math, Science, and Urdu or Sindhi from Classes 1 to 8.
Applicants must have a teaching qualification such as B.Ed or M.Ed. The process includes a written test. In some cases, it may also include an interview.
After passing the test and interview, if it is taken, candidates have to submit their documents to STEDA.
