The aircraft involved in the accident was worth six hundred and forty crore Indian rupees. Following the crash, the shares of the company manufacturing the Tejas aircraft also saw a noticeable decline.
According to foreign outlets, the incident has dealt yet another setback to India at the international air show. It has raised serious questions about its air capabilities on the global stage.
Sources say the Dubai Air Show was temporarily suspended after the crash. The incident has sparked renewed concerns over the aircraft’s safety and reliability.
An Indian journalist has claimed that Wing Commander Vikram Singh lost his life in the crash of the Yagis aircraft. The Indian media have also confirmed this claim.
In 2021, a Tejas aircraft of the Indian Air Force had similarly crashed in Rajasthan during a training mission.

Today, an Indian fighter jet, Tejas, crashed during the final day of the Dubai Airshow.
Rescue operations were launched immediately, the show was briefly halted, and visitors were redirected to the exhibition area for safety.
Authorities have yet to release any details about the pilot’s condition.
The Dubai Airshow, one of the world’s largest aviation events, began on November 17 and will continue until November 24.
