Dubai Air Show 2025: Tejas Jets Technical Glitch Embarrasses India

Indian Tejas leaking oil at Dubai Air show

DUBAI: One of the world’s biggest aviation events, the Dubai Airshow 2025, opened on Monday showcasing military and commercial aircraft.

The event brings together the latest military and commercial aircraft from around the world. Organisers say they are ready for experts and aviation fans.

The Indian Air Force sent its Surya Kiran aerobatic team and Tejas fighter jets to impress the crowd from November 17 to 21.

But things didn’t go as planned. On the first day, the Tejas jets were seen leaking oil on the tarmac. Indian Air Force technicians had to use shopping bags to stop the leakage.

Many are calling it an embarrassment for India and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited after decades of work and big spending.

PAF READY TO SHINE

This year, Pakistan Air Force pilots are expected to attract major attention. Experts say recent PAF operations have impressed global air powers. Pakistani pilots are praised for their skill, discipline, and accuracy.

The show will have colourful displays, formation flying, and aerobatic performances. Analysts believe PAF’s showcase will be a highlight, showing the world Pakistan’s growing air strength.

China will also display its advanced air defence system, seen as a challenge to Western military tech. Russia is taking part too, with its fighter jets and defence equipment.
