The Witcher Season 4 Arrives Oct 30 as Liam Hemsworth Becomes Geralt

The Witcher

Netflix’s hit fantasy series ‘The Witcher’ returns on October 30 and this time Liam Hemsworth wears the White Wolf’s armor, taking over from Henry Cavill.

Season 4 adapts Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake.

This season pushes Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri toward their hardest choices yet as the Continent tilts into chaos.

A new Geralt faces a world in chaos

To begin with, the show does more than simply swap actors.

The creative team hints the change will be folded into the story, and the trailer wastes no time showing Hemsworth’s Geralt in action.

We pick up after Brokilon: Geralt is traveling with Milva and Jaskier, focused on one goal that was find Ciri and keep her safe.

Yennefer warns, “Something is shifting on this Continent,” as mages reel from the fallout at Aretuza and Vilgefortz builds his forces.

Season 3 was about breaking the family apart.

Whereas Season 4 is about transformation, survival, and the hard road back to one another.

Three heroes split and fighting back

Meanwhile, each lead sets out on a separate path.

Geralt strips down to his core purpose ‘protector and hunter’ cutting a path through monsters and mercenaries to reach Ciri.

Yennefer steps into leadership, determined to build an alliance that can stand up to Vilgefortz and the looming war.

Ciri goes undercover as “Falka,” riding with the Rats and testing a fiercer side after last season’s devastation.

New allies arrive as old foes return

Finally, the cast mixes familiar faces with exciting newcomers.

Freya Allan (Ciri), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), and Joey Batey (Jaskier) return.

New cast members include Laurence Fishburne as Regis, the mysterious barber-surgeon who signals a turning point for Geralt, plus Sharlto Copley as Leo Bonhart, James Purefoy as Stefan Skellen, and Danny Woodburn as Zoltan Chivay.

Several characters from Season 3 will not return, following major deaths and exits.

With stakes higher than ever, Season 4 promises giant monsters, bigger battles, and a fight to remake the world, proving that destiny is a beast, and the White Wolf is ready to hunt.
