San Francisco: Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter Victoria was found dead in San Francisco at a hotel on New Year’s Day at 34, according to reports. Tommy Lee Jones is an Oscar winning actor.
The news was first reported by the TMZ. TMZ cited law enforcement sources. It was later confirmed by local authorities that an unnamed woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The People magazine was told by the San Francisco Fire Department that they responded to a medical emergency. The emergency was at the Fairmont Hotel shortly before 3 am at local time. According to the officials an individual was deceased upon arrival.
Officers were also dispatched to the hotel as confirmed by the San Francisco Police Department. The paramedics their declared an adult woman dead. Some sources in the police have suggested that the dead woman was Victoria Jones.
The cause of death has not been confirmed yet. However, it was noted by NBC Bay Area that foul play is not suspected at the current time. The news has not been confirmed by a member of Jones’ family.
Victoria was the daughter of Kimberlea Cloughley and Tommy Lee Jones, 79. They are currently divorced. They also share a son Austin Jones, 43.
Victoria has made a handful of acting appearances in her life. She had a role in her father’s 2002 film Men in Black II. In 2005, she appeared in The Three Burials of Mequiades Estrada. The film was directed by her father and featured his wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones, as the stills photographer. In 2003, she also appeared in one episode of teen drama One Tree Hill.
