The Tezgam Express, travelling from Peshawar to Karachi, derailed near Lodhran in South Punjab, causing panic among passengers. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and immediately began relief operations, assisting those affected. According to initial reports, no deaths have been reported so far. However, social media reports confirmed that seven passengers were injured in the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the hook connecting the train’s carriages suddenly broke, causing seven carriages attached to the engine to slide forward.
