Govt considering transferring Imran Khan from Adiala jail: claims Ikhtiar Wali

Web desk: The government is actively considering transferring the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, from Adiala Jail, Ikhtiar Wali claimed on Wednesday.

Is Imran Khan getting transferred from Adiala Jail?

Prime Minister’s Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali says that PTI is pursuing an agenda to destabilise the country, and attempts are being made to create sedition and riots in the name of protest.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that matters have reached a point where there is no return.

Ikhtiar Wali said that they want the prisoner to be transferred from Adiala, and the government is also seriously considering it.

He also alleged that Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi has a nexus with drug smugglers.

Ikhtiar Wali said that the Pakistani army has raised the prestige of Pakistan all over the world.

These people use religion for politics; these people are attacking the country’s prestige and development day by day.

Talal Chaudhry hints at Imran Khan’s transfer from Adiala Jail

Previously, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry had hinted at the transfer of the founder of PTI from Adiala Jail.

While holding a press conference in Islamabad, Talal Chaudhry said that if he now shows off outside Adiala and becomes a threat to other prisoners in the jail, then a prisoner will be transferred.

Talal Chaudhry said that the founder of PTI wants to ‘blackmail’ the army and its chief to regain power and end cases.

The Minister of State said that wherever chaos is spread, including Adiala, the law will come into play, and the resources of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will not be allowed to be used.

Talal Chaudhry said that ‘how long can someone remain silent?’

He further said that, for how long will his words and criticism be ignored, it is not worth responding to anything he says.
