Tri-Nation Series

Chasing a target of 115, Pakistan reached the score in 18.4 overs despite a small hiccup in the middle order.

Openers Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan gave Pakistan a solid start with a 46-run stand. Farhan scored 23 off 22 balls, while Saim kept the chase steady.

Babar Azam then joined Saim and helped Pakistan cross 50. Saim was out for 36 off 33, but Pakistan remained in control.

Captain Salman Ali Agha added 14, though Pakistan lost two quick wickets later. Babar stayed calm, finishing unbeaten on 37 off 34 to take Pakistan home with more than eight balls remaining.

Earlier, Sri Lanka struggled after choosing to bat. Opener Pathum Nissanka was out for 11, and wickets continued to fall.

Kamil Mishara was the only strong performer for Sri Lanka, scoring a fluent 59, his third T20I fifty, but he got little support from the rest of the batting lineup.

After Mishara’s dismissal, Sri Lanka collapsed badly, losing their last five wickets for just 10 runs and being bowled out for 114 in 19.1 overs.
