Trump has delivered his speech at the “Board of Peace” Ceremony in Davos. As leaders from all over the world join him on stage.
He started his speech by saying that today is an exciting day, long in the making. He further claimed that everyone wants to be a part of his Board of Peace. In his speech, he said that he will keep continuing to work with other organisations like the United Nations.
Trump also said that today’s world is not safer, richer and much more peaceful than it was in 2025 before him. He further added that a lot of people did not even know this war was happening.
When discussing Hamas, he vowed that Hamas would either be disarmed or destroyed.
He also mentioned Iran and said that they want to talk and will talk with Iran.
In his speech, he also mentioned the Pakistan-India conflict in May, he said, “We were very pleased to be able to stop a war that had begun between India and Pakistan, both nuclear-armed nations. I was deeply honoured when the Prime Minister of Pakistan said that President Trump had saved 10 perhaps even 20 million lives by stopping it just in time. Very bad things were about to happen.”
Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif also signed the Gaza Board of Peace Accord in Davos after the speech.
The Board of Peace was not just joined by Pakistan but many other muslim-majority countries. A joint statement was given by a group of muslim-majority countries in which they welcomed the invitation by the United States of America’s President Donald Trump to join the Gaza “Board of Peace.”
