US President Donald Trump has stated that the war with Iran ‘is very complete, pretty much’ after his previous four to five weeks estimated duration of the ongoing conflict.
According to sources, Trump said, “I think the war is very complete, pretty much. They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no Air Force.”
US military targets over 3000 Iranian sites amid war
The United States military reported that it targeted more than 3,000 Iranian sites during the initial week of operations. “If you observe, they have nothing remaining. In a military context, there is nothing left,” Trump stated.
On Sunday, Iran declared that Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei would succeed his father as the supreme leader of Iran.
“I have no communication for him. None at all,” the US President remarked, adding that he has another individual in mind to govern the nation.
Initially, Trump estimated that the conflict would conclude in about a month.
“We are significantly ahead of schedule,” he further stated.
On the same afternoon, Trump stated that the war is “very complete, pretty much,” while the Department of Defense posted on X, “We have Only Just Begun to Fight” and “no mercy.”
Trump added that the United States “could do a lot” regarding the strait and issued a warning to Iran if it obstructs the waterway.
“They have exhausted all their ammunition, and they should not attempt anything clever, or it will be the end of that nation. … Should they engage in any harmful actions, it would signify the end of Iran, and you would never hear that name again.”
The US President also mentioned that the strait is currently open and claimed that vessels have been entering the strait, but he is still “considering taking control of it.”
