Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has instructed all of its terrorists groups to leave Pakistan’s tribal areas and return to Afghanistan immediately, according to internal directives of TTP leader Mufti Noor Wali and senior leadership based on Afghan soil.
According to the details, the orders were disseminated through a three-tier chain from central command to regional commanders and then to local fighters. While using Facebook Messenger, printed pamphlets, and selected informant networks to ensure consistent messaging to their fighters across units.
Each group has been told to split into smaller units and retrace the same clandestine routes used to enter Pakistan.
TTP senior commanders, including Mullah Saeed Anar, validated the instructions and circulated them across Waziristan and other sensitive districts.
Locally recorded audio messages direct fighters to halt all extremist operations at once, postpone any pre-planned terrorist activities, and disregard unverified or rumour based instructions.
Terrorist foot soldiers were told that the next set of orders will come only from the central emir after they have reached Afghanistan.
The Pashto-language messages reportedly open with “Bismillah” and include specific phrases designed to maintain trust within the ranks and reinforce central control over splinter groups.
