The two-day exhibition of Pakistani brands, ‘Mera Brand Pakistan,’ has commenced at the Expo Center Karachi.
The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, inaugurated the exhibition.
On this occasion, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Munam Zafar Khan, Arts Council President Ahmed Shah, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Saqib Fayyaz Maggo, President of Mera Brand Pakistan, Sohail Aziz, former Karachi Chamber President Javed Balwani, among others, attended.
Over 700 brands are participating in the exhibition, where a variety of attractive garments, abayas, jewelry, herbal and organic products, household items, food stalls, and other quality products are available at reasonable prices.
Specifically for women, the Khadija Al-Kubra Business Hub has also been established.
Women entrepreneurs and skilled women associated with home industries are presenting their handmade products to the public at the exhibition.
Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, while addressing the inaugural ceremony, said that “my brand ‘Pakistan Ka Idea’ started due to the oppression of Israel. We want Muslim countries to also bring their products here. There are products in Pakistan whose quality is very good.”
Moreover, he mentioned that we want local bodies to be strengthen and the economy to be improved.
“Mera Brand Pakistan” is a significant event celebrating the diversity, excellence, and innovation of Pakistani products, promoting local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
This event aims to foster economic self-reliance and support local industries.
