Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), has announced fully funded scholarships for national and international students for the Fall 2026 intake. The scholarships are available for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs across various fields of study.

Coverage and perks

The scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, monthly stipends, textbooks, medical and health insurance, airfare, and visa costs. Students interested in applying under this programme will receive financial support throughout the duration of their studies, including assistance with travel and living expenses.

The scholarship has been offered in three major colleges, including:

  1. The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, which offers courses such as Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Nuclear Engineering.
  2. The College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences provides options including Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Computational Data Science.
  3. The College of Medicine and Health Sciences includes Biomedical Engineering and Molecular Life Sciences.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet degree requirements relevant to the programme: a bachelor’s degree for master’s applicants and a master’s degree for PhD applicants. Proof of English proficiency is required, though native speakers or those with degrees from English-medium institutions may not have to submit any kind of certificate.

Candidates also need to submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (if applicable), two reference letters, a statement of purpose comprising 500 to 1000 words, and also to attend an interview when called. Additional documents, including transcripts, CV, and passport, are required for application processing.

Application process and deadline

The application process is entirely online. Willing students must complete the official application form and upload all supporting documents via the university’s website. Separate applications are required for undergraduate and graduate scholarships.
