UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed completes official visit to Pakistan

Web desk: UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan completed his official visit to Pakistan and returned home after a successful trip on Friday.

He visited Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This marked his first official visit to Pakistan as the President of the United Arab Emirates.

At the Nur Khan Airbase, President Mohammed bin Zayed received a warm welcome, including an aerial salute by JF-17 fighter jets.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally welcomed the UAE President, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and the UAE President held detailed talks to strengthen bilateral relations.  Both countries agreed to enhance investment and trade cooperation.

They also decided to expand collaboration in energy, infrastructure, information technology, and technology sectors.

At the airport, the warm welcome extended by the Prime Minister and the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Defence Forces highlighted the exceptional ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

The UAE President’s enthusiastic return salute in response to the military honours further symbolised the strong brotherly relationship between the two nations.

“Ahlan wa Sahlan, Marhaba”: Pakistan releases special song

The Government of Pakistan also released a special welcome song to mark the first official visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the country.

The song showcases the President’s arrival in Pakistan, his grand reception, and his warm handshake and embrace with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

It also features charming scenes of children presenting flowers to the UAE President.

Titled “Ahlan wa Sahlan, Marhaba,” the song reflects the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. It highlights the love, respect, and goodwill shared by the people of both nations.

UAE President lands in Islamabad

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, landed in Pakistan on Friday.

The President was accorded a grand welcome upon his arrival.

This is the maiden official visit of the UAE president to Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the COAS and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir greeted the UAE president upon arrival.

Pakistan and the UAE enjoy strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations. These ties are rooted in history and people-to-people links.
