In the second match of the ongoing Under-19 tri-nation cricket series in Zimbabwe, Pakistan Under-19 defeated Afghanistan Under-19.
The match, played in Harare, saw Pakistan win the toss and opt to field first. Afghanistan Under-19 were bowled out for 226 runs in their allotted overs, as Pakistan’s bowlers kept up consistent pressure throughout the innings. Usman Khan starred with the ball for Pakistan, claiming four crucial wickets to restrict the Afghan batting line-up.
Chasing a target of 227, Pakistan Under-19 faced stiff resistance, and the match entered a nail-biting phase.
Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe in their next fixture, scheduled to be played at the same venue on Monday.
