The University of New South Wales (UNSW) has started accepting applications for its International Scholarships 2027.
The scholarships are open to international students who want to study eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs in Australia.
Scholarship benefits
The scholarships are for students who plan to start their studies at UNSW in Term 1, 2027.
Students can also be considered for more than one scholarship through the PUCA1029 scholarship application.
Some selected students may receive full tuition fee coverage for the normal length of their degree. Other scholarships can provide up to A$20,000 per year toward tuition fees.
Eligible students may also receive faculty-based awards of A$5,000, A$10,000 or A$15,000.
The selected undergraduate students can get A$10,000 per year. The International Student Award can also provide a tuition fee contribution of up to 20 per cent.
What are the fields of study?
The scholarships are available across several fields. These include engineering, computing, business and economics, law and justice, arts, science, medicine and health, design and architecture, and social sciences.
UNSW will look at more than just academic results when reviewing applications. The university may consider leadership experience, community or extracurricular activities, supporting documents and the reasons behind the student’s choice of degree.
Meeting the minimum academic requirement for admission does not guarantee a scholarship. Students must also meet the English language requirements for their chosen faculty and degree.
Application deadline
Interested students must apply for the scholarships by October 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM AEST.
The scholarships can help international students lower their education costs while studying at UNSW in Australia.
