Vivo is steadily gaining ground in Pakistan’s crowded smartphone market, with more buyers now considering the brand alongside long-established names such as Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi.
That growing interest has sparked fresh attention around the company’s next premium mid-range phone, the Vivo V70, as early leaks begin to surface online.
According to industry chatter, the Vivo V70 is expected to be priced between Rs150,000 and Rs170,000 in Pakistan. If accurate, this would place it in a highly competitive segment where buyers already have plenty of choices. Even so, Vivo has built a stronger reputation in recent years, helped by the positive response to the Vivo V60, which appears to have set the stage for its successor.
Reports suggest the Vivo V70 has been spotted on the Federal Communications Commission certification database, a step that often points to an upcoming launch. While Vivo has not made any official announcement, the listing has fuelled speculation that the phone may arrive sooner rather than later.
The certification also hints at familiar connectivity features, including 5G support, Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi 6, keeping it in line with modern flagship standards.
What to expect from Vivo V70
Leaks indicate that the Vivo V70 could feature a large 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a combination aimed at smoother scrolling and gaming. The device is reportedly powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the same processor used in the Vivo V60, suggesting a focus on reliable performance rather than a complete overhaul.
Memory and storage options are expected to be generous. The phone could arrive with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage, based on details seen in certification documents. Battery life may also be a strong point, with reports pointing to a 6,500 mAh or even a 7,000 mAh battery, along with possible 100W fast charging support. The device is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box.
Camera upgrades are another area drawing attention. Leaks claim the Vivo V70 may come with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, paired with a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is also expected. All cameras are said to be Zeiss-tuned, continuing Vivo’s focus on photography in this series.
As for the launch timeline, the Vivo V70 is expected to debut around February 2026, roughly six months after the Vivo V60. However, this schedule has not been confirmed, and Vivo has yet to share official details.
For now, the Vivo V70 remains a phone surrounded by leaks and expectations. Still, if these early details hold true, it could become a strong contender in Pakistan’s premium mid-range market, where buyers are increasingly looking for a balance of performance, camera quality and long battery life.
