Diabetes in Pakistan

Diabetes is a huge health crisis in Pakistan. This disease affects over 34 million adults in the country. That means approximately 1 in 3 adults suffer from it.

A global cause of the prevalence of the disease is genetics, nutrition shifts, inactivity, and high rates of undiagnosed cases.

It i expected that the number might nearly double by 2045 without proper education and intervention.

This makes it an urgent public health issue. Proper lifestyle and early detection, along with better management, can help with it.
