Former Pakistan captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has shared a throwback dance video of his close friend and TV host Fakhar-e-Alam, sending social media users down memory lane.
Wasim Akram and Fakhar-e-Alam have been close friends for years and have also hosted cricket transmissions together. The two friends also performed Hajj together this year.
Fakhar-e-Alam was previously associated with the entertainment industry and appeared in a film alongside popular actress Resham.
Akram recently shared a dance clip from Fakhar-e-Alam’s film on his Instagram account. The video shows Fakhar-e-Alam dancing in his style during his early days in showbiz.
The throwback video quickly caught the attention of social media users, who flooded the post with humorous and nostalgic comments.
Several celebrities also reacted to the clip, adding to the fun surrounding the unexpected glimpse into Fakhar-e-Alam’s early entertainment career.

Earlier, Former Pakistan captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has voiced concern over the national team’s recent performances, saying he has watched Pakistan cricket struggle for the past five to six years. Speaking to the media, Wasim Akram raised alarm over Pakistan cricket’s struggles. He said that regardless of who is appointed as coach, the talent pool remains the same, and the focus should instead be placed on the players and the overall cricketing system.
The former captain questioned why a 14-year-old boy in a neighbouring country can showcase his talent while similar opportunities are not available in Pakistan. He stressed that the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) domestic structure should be given at least three to four years to operate consistently before its effectiveness is assessed.
Wasim Akram said there is no substitute for patience and proper planning, adding that, like every other Pakistani, he is also disappointed by the team’s recent performances.
