The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), on Thursday, predicted rain and snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and northern Balochistan as a new westerly weather system enters the country.
According to the latest details, the Meteorological Department has forecast another spell of rain and snowfall.
PMD forecast
According to the details shared by the department for weather in Pakistan, rain and snowfall are expected in the northern areas and the northern parts of Balochistan.
The report further says that a weak system of westerly winds will enter the country on January 30 and is likely to persist until February 3.
The Meteorological Department also stated that rain is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from January 31 to February 3.
According to the report, light to moderate snowfall is also likely in mountainous areas.
Additionally, only light rain may occur in Islamabad, the Potohar region, Sialkot, and Narowal from February 1 to 3.
The department further stated that light rain and snowfall are expected in Murree, Galiyat, and the surrounding areas.

Friday, January 30, will be warmer with hazy sunshine. The daytime high will reach 27°C and the RealFeel temperature will be 28°C.
Evening lows will drop to 11°C. Winds will remain light from the east-northeast.
