The Meta-owned instant messaging application WhatsApp has introduced new feature for iPhone users to save stickers.
The new feature is available for iPhone users with the new iOS update (version 25.31.75). This update brings a sticker creation and saving tool that allows users to customize new stickers and add them directly to their collection without needing to send them first.
This feature was initially launched in the Android beta version (2.25.24.23) and was designed to make easy how users manage and organize stickers.
However, now, iOS users can save their newly created stickers directly to personal packs, making sticker management more seamless and intuitive.
The new feature places a “Save” button next to the Send option on the sticker creation screen. Tapping it permits users to add the sticker to an existing pack or create a new one, resulting in better organization from the start.
Here’s how to use
- Update WhatsApp to the latest iOS version (25.31.75) from the App Store.
- Open any chat, tap the emoji icon, go to the sticker tab, and select Create Sticker.
- Pick a photo from your gallery or take a new one.
- Use the edit tools to crop, add text, or draw (optional).
- Tap the new Save button next to Send to store the sticker instead of sending it.
- Choose to add the sticker to an existing pack or create a new pack.
- Find your saved sticker under My Stickers in the sticker panel for later use.
Earlier, WhatsApp began rolling out its new “Ask Meta AI” feature in Pakistan, giving users the option to interact with Meta’s assistant directly from their chats.
The tool aims to make conversations more useful by helping with quick replies, answering questions, and even summarising content.
Instead of opening another app or switching to a separate chatbot, people can now type their queries within a private or group chat, and Meta AI will respond instantly.
The feature also works with forwarded messages, photos, or videos, allowing users to get extra context or quick explanations without leaving the chat window.
A standout addition is the private message summary option. It allows users who have missed long conversations to receive a neat summary of unread chats.
WhatsApp has made it clear that while content shared with Ask Meta AI is processed by the system, normal chats remain fully protected with end-to-end encryption.
The update is being released gradually across Pakistan. Some users are already seeing the Ask Meta AI icon after updating WhatsApp, while others may need to wait for server-side activation even if they have the same version installed.
