When will PM Shehbaz leave for Washington to attend Gaza Peace Board meeting?

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is likely to leave for Washington on February 18 to attend the Gaza Peace Board meeting.

The meeting will focus on the situation in Gaza, measures to ensure peace and stability and the future course of action.

Pakistan’s participation is being described as an important part of diplomatic efforts to establish peace in the region and address the humanitarian crisis. The meeting will be held at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, DC.

In inner sources revealed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on an important multi-country visit beginning February 15, with stops in Austria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The Prime Minister will first travel to Vienna, Austria, from February 15 to 16, where he is scheduled to meet the Austrian leadership and hold bilateral talks aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.

Following his engagements in Vienna, Prime Minister Sharif will proceed to London for a two-day private visit. He is expected to depart for Washington from London on February 18.

A bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US President Donald Trump is expected to take place on February 20. The meeting is likely to focus on regional security, bilateral cooperation and ongoing developments in the Middle East.

According to sources, the Prime Minister will be accompanied by a delegation comprising senior officials and high-ranking personalities during his visit.
