Former captain Younis Khan expresses interest in joining Pakistan team setup

Former Pakistan Test captain and legendary batsman Younis Khan has expressed his willingness to work with the Pakistan cricket setup, saying he is ready to serve the country in any capacity if given the opportunity.

Speaking during a visit to the Baldia Town Sports Complex, Younis Khan said that if entrusted with any responsibility within the Pakistan team, he would do his utmost to fulfil it effectively.

“The Pakistan team needs former players who have served the country with distinction. Whether it is me or anyone else, those who get the opportunity should contribute to Pakistan cricket in whatever role they are assigned,” he said.

During his visit, Younis Khan took a detailed tour of the 24-acre sports complex. Officials briefed him on the facilities being developed at the venue.

According to Town Nazim Karim Askani, the sports complex will host a variety of sporting activities. A dedicated cricket net practice area has already been constructed, while courts and grounds for indoor and outdoor sports, including hockey and football, are also being developed.

Karim Askani thanked Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Murad Ali Shah, and Murtaza Wahab for their support in providing Baldia Town with a modern sports facility.
