YouTube Premium raises prices starting June

YouTube Shorts is preparing to introduce an exciting new feature that will allow users to create AI avatars that look and sound just like them.

According to the company, this tool will enable users to generate a digital version of themselves, which they can include in their existing Shorts videos or use to create entirely new content.

In a blog post, YouTube said the avatar feature enhances its current video creation tools, making it easier and more accurate than ever to include yourself in videos. The avatar creates a digital likeness of you, allowing you to produce videos that both look and sound like you.

According to reports, the feature will be available on both YouTube and YouTube Create.

To create an avatar, users will first need to record a “live selfie,” capturing their face and voice from different angles while following on-screen instructions.
