LONDON: After a High Court order, YouTuber Adil Raja has admitted that he made false allegations against Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer.
In a statement submitted to the London High Court, Adil Raja accepted that he has no defence for the accusations he made.
According to Deputy Judge Richard Spearman, Adil Raja must pay £50,000 in damages to Rashid Naseer under the court’s 9 October 2025 ruling.
He has also been ordered to pay £260,000 in initial legal costs.
The judge warned that if Raja fails to follow the court order, it will be considered contempt of court, which could lead to fines, jail time, or seizure of assets.
The court also issued two warnings and made it clear that the YouTuber cannot publish any direct or indirect statements about Brigadier (retd) Naseer or anyone linked to him.
According to the judgment, Adil Raja had levelled several allegations of corruption, election rigging and blackmail against Brigadier Naseer between 14 and 29 June 2022. He is now barred from repeating these claims.
Following the order, Adil Raja has posted a summary of the decision on X, Facebook, YouTube and his website. The apology will remain online for 28 days.
It may be recalled that the London High Court had announced its decision in October in the defamation case filed by Rashid Naseer, declaring the allegations baseless and ruling in his favour.
