YouTuber Rajab Butt deported from the UK

Web desk: The United Kingdom (UK) has deported Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt after cancelling his visa.

Sources said on Tuesday that the famous YouTuber Rajab Butt left for Pakistan early in the morning on a flight that was arranged after the expulsion orders.

Sources said the deportation took place because his British visa was revoked even though it was valid until 2027.

Investigators found that he did not mention the pending cases against him when he applied for the visa.

This was a major violation, and the UK Home Office ordered him to leave the country at once.

The action came after an inquiry that began several days earlier.

Rajab Butt, Naniwala detained

This happened after Britain’s MI-16 detained Butt and his fellow YouTuber Nadeem Naniwala after receiving anonymous complaints that accused them of links to terrorism.

Sources also said that both men were cleared of any connection to terrorism during the investigation.

Naniwala is a British national, and he was released.

Rajab Butt’s documents were sent to the Home Office for more checks.

During this process, authorities found the active cases that he had not declared.

Pakistani institutions had already shared this information with the UK.

After these findings, the British government issued a letter telling Butt to leave the country without delay.

A person close to Butt confirmed the deportation. Naniwala also confirmed it and said he was travelling with Butt back to Pakistan.

The UK later said that Butt’s removal was carried out under immigration rules related to visa violations.

A video of his departure from the aircraft is now circulating online.

Rajab Butt, Naniwala secure bail

Just before this, Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala secured a protective bail ahead of their return to the country.

As per details, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard the case and approved the bail of both renowned content creators.

The court announced that authorities cannot arrest Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala upon their arrival at Islamabad Airport.

The court also directed the content creators to personally appear before the court on Wednesday.

Justice Raja Inam Amin of the Islamabad High Court issued the orders while hearing petitions filed by both influencers who are currently facing multiple cases, including cybercrime-related allegations, registered in different jurisdictions.
