Zara Noor Abbas appeared as a guest on Shan e Suhoor and expressed her thoughts on the Imad Wasim and Sannia Ashfaq situation. She stated that she is at a loss for words.
“This is very sad. A divorce under any circumstances is unfortunate, but when children are involved, an entire new generation is impacted,” she stated.
She further noted that since all of this has been breaking out online, those children will eventually see it. Zara emphasised that when a marriage dissolves and both parties discuss it publicly, it rarely presents a positive image.
Imad Wasim and Sannia Ashfaq controversy
Popular cricketer, Imad Wasim is currently making headlines due to his recent marriage to influencer Nyla Rajah.
His first wife, Sannia Ashfaq, has accused him of infidelity during her pregnancy with their third child, claiming that he severed all communication with her.
Ashfaq claimed that their marriage concluded under profoundly troubling circumstances. “In December 2023, he had my child aborted in Lahore. He is a murderer, and I possess a video that substantiates this. He betrayed me,” she stated, calling on her followers to boycott Islamabad United for retaining “a murderer and a cheater” in its roster.
Sannia further posted screenshots of conversations where she requested Imad to visit their baby. However, Imad responded indifferently, instructing her not to reach out or harass him.
Initially, he refuted the rumors regarding his relationship with Nyla. However, they have now married and have shared images and videos online.
Sannia Ashfaq, Imad Wasim’s ex-wife, has publicly addressed this matter, urging Islamabad United not to allow Imad to play. She also intends to pursue justice for their children, as she alleged that Imad has not even met his third child since birth.
