13 Khwarij killed, security forces foil infiltration attempts on Pak-Afghan border area

13 Khwarij killed as security forces successfully foil infiltration attempts

Pakistan security forces successfully foiled two infiltration attempts along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to ISPR press release, on 28-29 April, security forces successfully thwarted two infiltration attempts along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing thirteen Khwarij belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij.

In Mohmand District, troops detected the movement of a group attempting to cross into Pakistani territory. Acting swiftly, security personnel engaged the infiltrators in a targeted operation. As a result of the exchange, eight Khwarij were killed.

In another engagement, own troops effectively foiled another infiltration attempt by a group of Khwarij along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan District and after an intense fire exchange, five Khwarij were neutralised.

These engagements once again substantiate Pakistan’s repeated stance regarding the abject failure of the Afghan Taliban Regime to ensure effective border management on their side.

The Afghan Taliban Regime must fulfil its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by khwarij and the involvement of its citizens in terrorism inside Pakistan.

The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers.

Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
