Web desk: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that four militants affiliated with the Indian-sponsored group Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in multiple security operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 17-18 November.
An intelligence-based operation in Bajaur District led to the elimination of one militant following an intense exchange of fire with security forces.
Two more militants were neutralised in separate operations in the Spinwam and Zakir Khel areas of North Waziristan District. Another encounter in Dera Ismail Khan District resulted in the death of a fourth militant.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.
Security forces continue to conduct sanitisation operations to eliminate any remaining militants in these areas.
The operations are part of Pakistan’s relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
