PTI Worker Running ‘Bilal AI’ Exposed

Web desk: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker operating an account under the name Bilal AI, which has been spreading content against Pakistan’s armed forces, has been exposed.

‘Bilal AI’ Exposed

According to a post on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, the individual behind the account is Bilal Ahmed. He is a robotics engineer living in Helsinki, Finland, according to the sources.

Bilal Ahmed, who previously used the username bilalah21, was initially active on social media with posts related to cricket and public figures like Faheem Ashraf, the post claims.

The post reads, “His old username was bilalah21; back then, he mostly stuck to comments about cricket and Fahim Ashraf. His old profile had a DP of a snowy landscape (that wallpaper isn’t loading just now) and the bio mentioned Autonomous Cars too. Bilal really likes the username BilalAhmad21. It’s the same on SmartView AI. It’s the same username on instructables.com too—just a difference on LinkedIn.”

His online profiles, including on platforms like Smart View AI and Instructables, have been revealed in addition to personal details such as his education at UET Lahore, his contact information, and his hometown of Toba Tek Singh.

The post claims that after the PTI’s vote of no confidence, he rebranded himself as Bilal AI. And he runs videos and content critical of Pakistan’s military.

Social media users have highlighted the discrepancy between his highly educated background and the nature of his online activities. Some have even called it “extremely shameful.”

A netizen even commented, “It’s a pity that educated youth are wasting their talent by following this lame guy. If only this young man had created an app that would benefit the whole world, but he chose temptation and wasted all his education and talent.”
