The government of Pakistan has reduced the price of Kerosene oil by Rs2 per litre.
According to the official notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new price of kerosene oil is set at Rs289 and 95 paisa.
The new price will remain in effect from August 08 to August 10.
A petroleum levy of Rs20 and 35 paisa has also been included in the new price of kerosene oil.
Earlier, on August 07, the price of kerosene oil was Rs291 and 43 paisa.
The reduction follows a broader adjustment in petroleum prices announced by the government, which officials say reflects changes in international oil markets and is intended to provide relief to consumers.
Kerosene remains an important source of fuel in many remote, mountainous and colder regions of Pakistan, where access to natural gas is limited. It is also widely used by households and small businesses for cooking and heating.
Moreover, the new prices for petrol and diesel have also been decreased in Pakistan for August 08, 2026.
The price of petrol has been set at Rs327.62 per litre, and the price of diesel has been set at Rs380.86 per litre.
The price of petrol has been decreased by Rs2.20 per litre, and the price of diesel has been decreased by Rs1.50 per litre, according to the notification. These prices have been reduced for the next three days, till August 10.
