Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, have tied the knot after ten years together.
The couple married in a civil and private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, according to Ronaldo’s management. Both Ronaldo and Rodriguez announced the wedding on Instagram, sharing a photo of their wedding bands.
The post quickly went viral, receiving more than 16 million likes within hours. British broadcaster Piers Morgan also congratulated the couple on X, sharing a picture of Ronaldo and Rodriguez following their wedding.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez have two daughters together, Alana, seven, and Bella, three.
The couple first met in 2016 when Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid. Their wedding comes a year after Rodriguez, 32, announced their engagement on Instagram, posting a picture of the couple holding hands with the caption, “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
Ronaldo, 41, is one of football’s most decorated players, having won major trophies with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and his current club, Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been in a relationship with Rodriguez since 2016.
Ronaldo will now return to Saudi Arabia as Al Nassr prepare to begin their 2026-27 Saudi Pro League campaign in four days.

The video has been posted on social media platforms and is being viewed by many people as the moment at which Ronaldo stepped up and was able to score a crucial penalty.
It was noted by many that the Portuguese captain mouthed the phrase “Bismillah” or “In the name of Allah” before hitting the ball.
However, others have also suggested that it was a part of his pre-kick routine and he wasn’t saying Bismillah but was preparing himself for the kick.
Footage has sparked speculation from football fans around the world, especially as Ronaldo has been at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia for the last few seasons.
