The local users of Apple Music are set to have access to Pakistan-specific subscription plans as Apple Music is officially set to launch in Pakistan.
The service is showing local prices now, a significant milestone towards its long-desired roll-out on local iOS devices later this month.
In the recent past, Apple Music has been available for Android in Pakistan.
Apple is also in the process of launching Apple Pay in Pakistan though it hasn’t made any official announcement.
Payment testing appears to have shown that transactions are successful with the PayPak cards; payment with other card types will be supported in future.
A month after Apple Music launched in Pakistan, the company has now introduced two subscription tiers, one at Rs100 and the other at Rs200, for the region.
The Individual plan will be priced at Rs379 per month, and the Family plan will be priced at Rs649 per month.
Both of them offer a free 1-month trial, renewing on a month-to-month basis.
The rollout has reportedly been seen during Apple’s current cycle of beta testing of iOS 27.
When it comes to subscription payments, successful payments made by the Pakistani users prove that the subscription system is now in place and not just simply using local pricing.
Apple is also believed to have integrated PayPak support into its software code, which implies that the Apple Pay rollout may be in the near future.
There are some users who have posted tutorials about how to test the beta of iOS and how to see if Apple Pay card support becomes available.
Apple has yet to release a public statement announcing the Pakistan launch.
But the working subscription and payment system indicates the rollout is very close to completion.
In the meantime, iOS 27 will arrive with a number of Apple Music changes, a revamped AutoMix feature, landscape support and updates to artist pages.
The local plans are now available for Pakistani iPhone users to check in Music app.
