Pakistan has revealed its separate squads of 15 players for the Women’s Asia Cup and Asian Games with Fatima Sana as the captain for both tournaments.
Fatima Sana, Muneeba Ali, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Zafar and Gull Feroza have both been chosen for both teams. Saira Jabeen, Eman Fatima, Eman Naseer, Umm-e-Hani, Tuba Hassan, Nashra Sandhu and Momina Riasat will also be part of both teams.
The Asia Cup team has been formed with Najiha Alvi, Waheeda Akhtar and Sadia Iqbal while Aliya Riaz, Tasmiya Rubab and Humna Bilal have been selected for the Asian Games.
In Pakistan, the training camp will commence from August 16 to 25 before the two big tournaments at the National Cricket Academy.

The Women’s Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in Dubai from August 28 to September 13. Pakistan is in Group A alongside India, Thailand and Hong Kong, China.
They will kick off their campaign against Thailand on September 1, before heading to India on September 5 and Hong Kong, China, on September 7.
The semi-finals are on September 10 and 11, and the final will be on September 13.
After the Asia Cup, Pakistan is getting ready to participate in the Asian Games that will be held in Japan from 17 to 22 September.
Pakistan will play Thailand in the initial match on September 17 with Thailand being seeded alongside Pakistan. The semi-finals will be on September 20 followed by the bronze and gold medal finals on September 22.
In the past, Pakistan women’s basketballers have clinched gold at the Asian Games in 2010 and 2014.
