Popular Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt is set to make his film debut alongside actress Amar Khan in an upcoming Pakistani film.
According to reports, Butt will play the lead role in the action-comedy film, which is being directed by Syed Faisal Bukhari. The screenplay has been written by Sarmad Ibrahim.
Filming for the project has already begun, with Amar Khan starring opposite Rajab Butt as the female lead.
Butt, who has built a massive following through social media, has around 9 million subscribers on YouTube and nearly 3 million followers on Instagram. He is now set to take his popularity beyond social media and into the Pakistani film industry.
The project marks Rajab Butt’s first major acting venture and will see him share the screen with established actress Amar Khan.
On the other hand, the Lahore Sessions Court has summoned TikToker Rajab Butt and other accused for indictment in a case involving allegations of sexual assault against TikToker Ayesha Jutt.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Yab Chadhar heard the complaint filed against the accused. During the hearing, all the accused appeared before the court and marked their attendance.
Lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq represented the accused before the court.
The court summoned Rajab Butt and the other accused for formal indictment at the next hearing and adjourned the proceedings until August 29.
A Lahore sessions court earlier summoned TikToker Rajab Butt and four other suspects to appear on August 18 for indictment in a case involving allegations of sexual assault and blackmailing of a social media influencer.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafaryab heard a private complaint filed by the influencer against Butt and the four other suspects and ordered all five to appear before the court for framing of charges.
The woman filed the complaint in 2025, alleging that the suspects sexually assaulted and later blackmailed her. She claimed to have evidence supporting her allegations, including WhatsApp conversations, a medical report and a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
