However, a fabricated social media campaign by PTI supporters is ongoing over this matter.
In the Sarhad University case, a police record states that Jadoon Khan submitted a written apology to Dr Aina over what was described as inappropriate behaviour on August 21.
According to the record, Dr Aina also gave an undertaking to police confirming that Jadoon Khan had apologised in the presence of police authorities.
