Capital Smart Motors has revised the price of its all-electric Riddara RD6 pickup truck in Pakistan, with two variants discontinued and prices increased for the remaining models.

Under a new company circular, the RD6 Air and Ultra variants have been discontinued, while the Econ and Pro versions remain available at higher prices.

The RD6 Econ now costs Rs14.499m, up from Rs13.399m, representing an increase of Rs1.1m.

The RD6 Pro has risen to Rs17.999m, from Rs16.999m.

The company said the changes are effective immediately.

The Riddara RD6 was launched in Pakistan in July 2025 and was marketed as the country’s first all-electric pickup truck.

The vehicle was initially offered in three variants before the Ultra version was added as the range-topping model.

Following the latest changes, only two versions of the RD6 remain on sale:

  • RD6 Econ: Rs14.499m
  • RD6 Pro: Rs17.999m

The Air and Ultra variants are no longer available as part of the current lineup.

Capital Smart Motors attributed the price increases to changes in the tariff structure introduced under Pakistan’s Finance Act 2026, following the federal budget.

The company is not the only automaker to revise electric vehicle prices following the changes.

Other manufacturers, including BMW and Audi, have also announced price adjustments for selected electric models and cited changes in the tariff structure.

The latest revisions come as Pakistan’s electric vehicle market continues to develop, with manufacturers adjusting their product offerings and prices in response to changes in taxation and import-related costs.
