Master Changan Motor Limited has announced delays of up to three weeks in the delivery of the Deepal S05 in Pakistan, due to disruptions in international shipping.
The company said a typhoon in China had disrupted shipping schedules and led to a shortage of freight vessels. Port congestion following a transporter strike in August has further affected shipment timelines.
Master Changan said the combined disruptions had resulted in delivery delays of up to three weeks for customers awaiting the Deepal S05.
The company said that it was working with its logistics partners to minimise the impact and deliver vehicles to customers as soon as possible.
