Security forces have killed 36 Indian sponsored terrorists in multiple intelligence-based operations conducted across Balochistan over the past 12 to 24 hours, according to an ISPR statement. The operations were carried out in the districts of Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi as part of intensified counterterrorism efforts in the province.
According to the statement, the operations targeted militants linked to Indian-sponsored proxy groups, including Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij. On 04 September 2026, during the conduct of an operation in Mastung, terrorists’ movement was identified and engaged by security forces; an intense fire exchange resulted in the killing of six Indian sponsored terrorists. A cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices was also destroyed on-site.
In another engagement, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the general area of Shaban, district Quetta. During the conduct of the operation, own troops identified four Khwarij hideouts and, after an ensuing fire exchange, neutralised twenty-six Khwarij. Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Kalat. During the conduct of the operation, security forces raided a terrorist hideout and killed two Indian sponsored terrorists.
In the Bhag area of district Sibi, swift response by security forces in conjunction with the local population foiled a terrorist attempt to raid the police station, Bhag. During the fire exchange, two Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell. In the last forty eight – seventy two hours, 48 terrorists belonging to Indian proxies, Fitna al Hindustan & Fitna al Khwarij, have been neutralised across Balochistan.
Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
