MG Motors Pakistan has introduced a new petrol version of the second-generation MG HS in Karachi.
The company held an event to show the new model and its current HS Hybrid+ and Super Hybrid variants.
The new MG HS comes with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. MG Motors has set the introductory price at Rs8,799,999.
Additionally, bookings are now open as well, with an initial payment of just Rs1.5 million.
What are the key specifications of the new MG HS?
The new MG HS measures 4,655mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,664mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,765mm.
The SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo engine. It produces 165 horsepower and 250Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed DCT gearbox.
The new model also comes with several safety and comfort features. These include seven airbags, ADAS and a 360-degree camera with Transparent Chassis.
Inside the cabin, the SUV gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. It also has eight speakers with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
What are other important features?
Other features include heated front seats, wireless charging and a panoramic sunroof. The car also gets heated side mirrors, rear privacy glass and a driver’s seat memory function.
The driver gets a six-way electric seat with four-way electric lumbar support. The front passenger gets a four-way electric adjustable seat.
The MG HS comes with 19-inch wheels and 225/55 R19 tyres.
What colours and smart features are added?
MG Motors is offering the new HS in five colours. These are York White, Black Pearl, Flare Red, Clever Grey and Cashmere Silver.
