The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 will take place across Sindh, SIBA Testing Services (STS) announced on Wednesday.
The test will be held in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur and Islamabad.
In Karachi, candidates will sit the test at NED University of Engineering and Technology and Dow University of Health Sciences’ Ojha Campus.
The examination centre in Hyderabad will be at Public School in Unit No. 3, Latifabad, while candidates in Jamshoro will take the test at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.
In Mirpurkhas, the test will take place at Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur Public School. In Larkana, candidates will sit the examination at the Police Training School Ground on Wagon Road.
Candidates in Shaheed Benazirabad will take the test at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology. The Sukkur centre will be located at IBA Public School on Old Airport Road.
Sindh residents currently living in Islamabad will take the examination at the Pakistan National Council of Arts in Sector F-5/1.
STS said the examination would last three hours and asked candidates to reach their assigned centres at the specified reporting time.
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) postponed the MDCAT last month on the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The test was originally scheduled for August 16.
In a statement issued on August 6, PM&DC said the decision aimed to ensure the “smooth, secure and transparent conduct” of the examination and facilitate all candidates.
The council added that other examination rules and arrangements would remain unchanged unless it issued a further notification.
