Kia set to launch a new car in Pakistan

Kia Motors Pakistan has sparked excitement among car enthusiasts after teasing a new vehicle ahead of the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026.

The company shared a promotional poster on Facebook showing a vehicle moving through a modern architectural setting, accompanied by the message, “The next standard won’t follow the old one.”

Kia has scheduled the official unveiling for September 18, 2026, the opening day of PAPS 2026. However, the company has yet to disclose the vehicle’s name, specifications or expected price.

The teaser has fueled speculation that Kia could introduce an updated version of the Kia Stonic in Pakistan. The speculation comes after the company recently discontinued the existing Stonic from the local market.

Kia also posted the message, “A new kind of presence is about to take the road,” further suggesting that the company is preparing to introduce an entirely new vehicle or a significantly updated model.

The upcoming launch has generated particular interest among SUV buyers, with many expecting Kia to reveal whether the mystery vehicle will be the new Stonic or another model for the Pakistani market.

PAPS 2026 will run from September 18 to 20 at the Expo Centre in Lahore, bringing together automotive manufacturers, parts suppliers and other industry stakeholders. The exhibition is also expected to feature several vehicle launches and new automotive announcements.

Kia will reveal its mystery vehicle on the first day of the event, meaning buyers and automotive enthusiasts will not have to wait much longer for the company to end the speculation.
