Dubai introduces new visit visa for UAE job seekers

The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has introduced a new visit visa for individuals looking to explore job opportunities in the United Arab Emirates. The visa allows prospective job seekers to enter the country and search for employment without requiring a UAE-based employer or sponsor at the time of application.

Applicants can choose between 60-, 90-, and 120-day visa options, while extensions of up to 180 days may be available, subject to applicable regulations and approval.

The extended stay period allows visitors to explore the UAE’s job market, attend interviews, meet potential employers and build professional connections with organisations operating in their fields.

The visa is particularly useful for individuals who prefer to conduct their job search in person rather than applying for positions from outside the UAE. Being in the country can allow applicants to gain a better understanding of local industries, workplace requirements and available career opportunities.

Applicants must meet the relevant eligibility criteria, complete the required procedures and submit the necessary documents based on their individual circumstances before travelling to the UAE.

Authorities have also advised prospective applicants to verify all visa requirements through official channels and avoid unauthorised agents or entities that promise guaranteed employment or visa approval.
