Cricket fans are in for another blockbuster encounter as arch-rivals Pakistan and India are set to face off in a highly anticipated clash next month. Cricket fans across the globe eagerly look forward to matches between the traditional rivals, Pakistan and India. Since India has declined to play bilateral series against Pakistan, the two teams now face each other only in multi-nation tournaments.
Given their historic rivalry, whenever these two teams take the field, the atmosphere turns electric, and the match becomes a fierce battle fittingly known as the “Pak-India clash.” Adding to the excitement, another Pak-India clash is scheduled to take place on October 10 in Dubai.
The match will be part of Season 3 of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), featuring former cricket stars such as “Boom Boom” Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Sharjeel Khan, and Asif Ali, who will represent Pakistan.
Season 3 of the World Championship of Legends will be held from October 3 to 18 at venues in Dubai and Sharjah. The tournament’s opening match will be played between Pakistan Champions and Bangladesh Champions.
Pakistan Champions are scheduled to face Australia on October 5, the West Indies on October 6, India on October 10, South Africa on October 12, and England on October 14. Kamil Khan, owner of Pakistan Champions, said preparations for the tournament are in full swing.
On the other hand, England sealed a 3-0 series whitewash over Pakistan after securing victory in the third and final Test, completing a dominant series performance. For the first time in history, England have whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in a Test series on home soil. As England began their chase of Pakistan’s 130-run target, Ben Duckett was dismissed off the very first ball, while Emilio Gay was bowled for a duck off the final delivery of the same over. With England’s score at 35, captain Joe Root was bowled by Mohammad Ali but was given a reprieve as the delivery was called a no-ball.
