The ongoing debate started with a video posted on social media by a user of a woman posing in short attire in the mountains. The user asked AI chatbot Grok if the woman in the video was Hania Aamir.
The woman is very similar in appearance to Hania Aamir, said Grok in response, noting the similarities in her short haircut and facial features. The AI further pointed out that the actress has been seen wearing such outfits in the recent past.
But Grok didn’t confirm whether the woman was Hania Aamir. It highlighted that, given prior deepfake incidents involving famous actors, the video could be fake.
Grok added that it would take “reliable sources” to confirm, meaning a social media post from Hania Aamir can only confirm it.
