Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Wednesday that the launch of Quantum Valley Pakistan had opened a new chapter for the country’s development.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that Pakistan needed to move beyond traditional business activities to reach its goal of becoming a trillion-dollar economy by 2047.
He urged the people, especially young Pakistanis, to use their skills and talent to help the country grow.
Pakistan needs economic progress
Iqbal also welcomed the agreement between Quantum Valley Pakistan and the Cambridge Innovation Centre.
He said that Pakistan’s nuclear programme had also faced major challenges when it was launched.
At that time, no country was ready to support Pakistan. However, he said national commitment and unity helped the country continue with the programme.
The minister said that Pakistan’s position in the world had improved after its victory over India in May 2025.
He also said the country had made diplomatic gains under the leadership of the prime minister and the field marshal.
Iqbal said these diplomatic achievements needed to be supported by a strong economy.
He said that Pakistan now needed to focus on economic success after dealing with the earlier conflict.
Focus on young Pakistanis
The planning minister said the launch of Quantum Valley Pakistan was the start of a new journey for the country.
He said young Pakistanis should not see themselves as less capable than people in other countries.
He also encouraged them to use the opportunities offered by the initiative and bring pride to Pakistan.
Iqbal added that Pakistan had achieved several successes during the past two years. He said the country should now continue working towards further progress.
‘Youth are architects of the country’s future’
Previously, Ahsan Iqbal shared an ‘inspirational’ AI song on X. Iqbal said that Pakistan’s youth are the architects of the country’s future, which is why the anthem has been dedicated to them.
“Inspired by the timeless philosophy of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, this song carries the message of Khudi and the spirit of the Shaheen. Iqbal taught us that true strength lies within. A nation rises when its youth discover confidence, character, knowledge and an unshakable belief in their own potential,” he added in the X post.
