The Punjab government has opened admissions for the fourth batch of the Advanced IT Programme under its “Hunarmand Punjab, Khudmukhtar Pakistan” Vision 2030 initiative, aimed at equipping young people with modern digital skills.
Under the programme, young people across Punjab will receive free training in digital skills, freelancing and other advanced skills required to access employment opportunities in the global market.
According to the Punjab government’s plan, the programme aims to train a total of 1 million young people.
The Advanced IT Programme includes more than 26 courses, through which participants will be trained in a wide range of technology and digital skills.
The initiative is designed to help young people pursue not only traditional employment but also freelancing and work opportunities in the global digital marketplace.
Selected participants will receive free training, while merit-based scholarship cards will also be offered under the programme.
Seats for the fourth batch are limited, and interested young people have been advised to submit their applications at the earliest to secure admission.
According to the Punjab government, a key objective of the programme is to equip young people with modern IT and digital skills and help them gain access to new employment opportunities.
The programme also focuses on enabling young people to create new sources of income by providing freelance services and accessing clients and employment opportunities in international markets.
