The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has carried out a major reshuffle involving the transfer and posting of several officers, with an official notification issued in this regard.
According to the notification, Additional Director Nadeem Zafar has been transferred from CBC to AHTC Rawalpindi, while Deputy Director Muhammad Tariq has been posted to AHTC Islamabad.
Deputy Director Tariq Masood has been transferred from Islamabad to Dera Ghazi Khan, while Deputy Director Rana Abid Hussain has been granted foreign leave for one year.
Assistant Director Sarah Rasool has been granted 120 days’ leave, while Assistant Director Umar Arsalan has been assigned the look-after charge at CBC Islamabad.
Nauman Khalil has been given the look-after charge of Deputy Director at AMLC.
Assistant Director Shafqat Jamal has been transferred from Multan to Composite Circle Mardan, while Muhammad Siraj has been posted as Assistant Director HR at FIA Headquarters.
Tahir Khan has been transferred from Gujranwala Zone to the Anti-Corruption Circle Peshawar, while Assistant Director Hassan Farooq has been posted to Gujranwala Zone.
Inspector Asfandyar Khan has been transferred from Islamabad to Peshawar Zone. Sub-Inspector Shehroam Khan has been transferred from FIA Headquarters to Peshawar.
Sub-Inspector Ehtesham Khan has been transferred from Kohat Zone to Peshawar Zone, while Assistant Sub-Inspector Adnan Ahmed has been transferred from Islamabad to Peshawar.
The notification stated that all transfers and postings were made with the approval of the FIA Director General.
Earlier, the federal government issued new orders concerning the posting and transfer of several officers, with the Establishment Division issuing formal notifications in this regard.
According to the notifications, Dr Ayesha Saeed, a Grade-20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), has been transferred from her deputation at the National School of Public Policy (NSPP) in Lahore. Her services have now been placed at the disposal of the Punjab government.
In a separate development, the Establishment Division has withdrawn its notification dated April 27, 2026, concerning the posting of Muhammad Asghar, a Grade-19 PAS officer.
The latest orders also withdraw, with effect from the beginning, the earlier decision to place Muhammad Asghar’s services at the disposal of the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU).
Meanwhile, SP Hafeez-ur-Rehman, a Grade-18 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), has been transferred from the Sindh government to the Balochistan government.
The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications covering the transfers, postings and other administrative changes involving the officers.
