The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Formula Student team from Pakistan, made another significant international appearance and gave an impressive performance at FS Türkiye 2026, winning 3rd place overall.
The competition united 17 teams from all over the world and gave the chance to university students to demonstrate their engineering, innovation, business and technical skills in developing and presenting their Formula Student cars.
The NUST team had a very good performance in various categories including some of the best performances in the various events. Their top performance was in Cost and Manufacturing, where they received a perfect score (80 out of 80) to win 1st place.
The team also showcased their engineering skills by winning 3rd place for Engineering Design highlighting the technical quality, creativity and attention to detail of their vehicle.
NUST also took 5th place in the Business Plan Presentation category, highlighting the team’s skills in integrating engineering expertise with business and project management.
The overall result of NUST is 3rd, which is a great success of the student engineering community of Pakistan.
The students were competing with teams from other countries and managed to get themselves among the top participants in an international competition.
The outcome is the result of the hard work, dedication and technical expertise of the NUST Formula Student Team and another instance of Pakistani students’ gaining international recognition.
It’s not only a proud moment for NUST, but it’s also a big achievement for Pakistan, and a testament to the capabilities of our young engineers in Pakistan.
