The federal government has approved the appointment and transfer of several civil and police officers, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approving the appointment of Huma Noorain Hassan in the Ministry of Railways.
According to an official notification, Huma Noorain Hassan has been appointed as Legal Adviser in the Directorate of Legal Affairs on a three-year contract at MP-II scale.
Meanwhile, Syed Ahsan Mumtaz, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Defence Division.
In another move, Police Service of Pakistan officer Shabihah Hussain, a BS-19 officer serving with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has been transferred.
The services of SSP Shabihah Hussain have been placed at the disposal of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications regarding the appointments and transfers.
